Abdelbassit Ben Dahman is a Moroccan visual artist born in 1949 in Tangier and died in 2018. Figurative art and realism define his style of painting.
Born in Tangier in 1952, where he lived and worked, Abdelbassit Ben Dahman has been fascinated by drawing since childhood. He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Casablanca , and then joined the CPR Regional Educational Center in Rabat (plastic arts section). From 1973, he taught visual arts in his hometown, then in 1983-1984 followed the special training cycle for visual arts teachers. He devotes himself to teaching, his painting and the management of the Galerie Linéart, which also houses his workshop.
